COPD CAN FEEL LIKE A PRISON
COPD can feel like a prison. But you have options. We are testing a new investigational COPD study medication.
If you are 40-85 years old, a current or former smoker, and have COPD – also known as emphysema or chronic bronchitis – you may qualify for this research study and receive at no cost:
- Study related care from a local doctor
- Study medication and standard of care medication for your COPD
- Compensation for travel
Osteoarthritis of the Knee
We are currently enrolling patients aged 40 or older who experience Osteoarthritis of the Knee. Patients need to have chronic knee pain for longer than 6 months.
You will need to be willing use Acetaminophen (provided) for pain relief and be able to walk 50 feet unassisted and climb stairs.
Your participation in the study will last about 7 months. As part of your study participation you will be seen by our doctors and research staff 9 times, including receiving 3 knee injections.

Novo Nordisk – Type 2 Diabetes
We are currently looking for patients aged 18 years & up who experience Type 2 Diabetes. We will be studying the use of Victoza as an add-on to Metformin compared to other oral treatment as add-on to Metformin.
Patients need to have been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes at least 90 days before you start the study, must be on >1500 mg/Day of Metformin for >60 days before screening, and have an HbA1c between 7.5 to 9% within 90 days of screening.·
This study will require your participation for about 2 years in which you will be seen by our doctors and research staff 13 times.
Your participation will be at no cost to you and you will be compensated $50 per visit for your time and travel. The information gathered from this study may benefit other people in the future like you.
